FOSSIL WALK COURSE

Join us for a 1-mile Fossil Walk! Register up to six people for $10 per family. Each child gets a bucket and shovel for fossil digging areas (you WILL find some cool stuff!), will complete "Rock School" with four different awesome groups coming in to talk about different rock themes, a chance to view the inside of the quarry, and participation in the Quarry Challenge after-party with bounce houses, big trucks, and food by donation! Transportation for strollers will be provided. (Strollers allowed on Fossil
Walk only - NO strollers allowed on 5K course.) Please, no open-toed shoes.

A HUGE THANK YOU to the Oakland County Earth Science Club, the Michigan Mineralogical Society, the Friends of Mineralogy, Midwest Chapter, and the Orton Geological Museum. And as always, Sylvania Minerals and Great Lakes Aggregates!

DUE TO THE EXTREME POPULARITY OF THIS EVENT, WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCOMMODATE ANY ADDITIONAL PARTICIPANTS AND NO LONGER ACCEPTING REGISTRATIONS.
