E.C. Korneffel completed the Stony Island Restoration Project near Grosse Ile on the Detroit River and began work near Celeron Island located just south of Grosse Ile Municipal Airport this summer. Construction of New Settling Pond Nearly Finished

A new settling pond is currently being constructed at Sylvania Minerals to store fines as part of the mineral washing process. Dan’s Excavating is the contractor on the project and is ahead of schedule.
